I went outside and got some yellow zinnias from the garden.
These beehive canisters are the BEES KNEES:)
The bird S and P sit on a black and white bird plate.
2 plates are nestled together for part of the centerpiece.
A bee sits in one of the topiaries.
Of course we have to have our bee glasses too!
I laid a patterned black and white placemat over a solid yellow one.
The flowered embroidery on the corner of the placemat is a good match to the inside of the bowl.
I gathered a black and white patterned napkin with a solid yellow.
It is definitely a beeutiful table, Pinky!

Wonderful colour combination - so striking! You've combined a lot of terrific elements in a very pleasing manner. I've used multiple tablecloths, multiple napkins, multiple runners all at the same time but why, have I not thought of layering placemats??? Thanks for the great tip - your black/yellow ones look fantastic! I'm sure your daughter and family will be wanting to come back for lunch again soon when they get wind of this t'scape! Hope your hubby is on the road to recovery.
