Leaf embroidered placemats and leaf napkins.
I used plain green placemats at the ends. My brown bamboo flatware is my go to in the Fall!
The dining room table for 4.
I got this new runner recently so used simple orange placemats with leaves imprinted on them.
The buffet area was set up with the food.
The fruit salad was served in this beautiful bowl I found at WALMART!!! It is their Better Homes and Gardens Fall collection. It has pumpkins and acorns on the inside too! I love it!
3 kinds of breads: lemon, blueberry and banana walnut. Pumpkin streudel mini muffins too.
Regular and decaf coffee.
My plate and juice. I love to mix OJ and cranberry:)
Egg casserole
French toast casserole.
It was a fun morning. Wish you all could have been here!!!

I count an event a "success" when guests tarry and hesitate to leave!!!
Yours sounds like that kind of event!!! (wink!)

P.S. Your header is breathtakingly beautiful!!!
How fun! Your tables and home look beautiful. Sheila
ReplyDeleteHi Pinky! How nice of you to host such a lovely breakfast for your neighbors! I'm sure they loved it and your table was beautiful! So nice to hear from you and no, the ship was as smooth as silk. The Queen Mary 2 is built differently than a regular cruise ship and it just cuts through the waters and doesn't bounce on top like to other ships do. I can't swim myself but I'm not afraid of cruising.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia :)
Hosting brunch is one of my favorite things to do!!! The decor is so inviting and the food looks so scrumptious and I bet it was delicious...no wonder it was a big hit with your neighbors!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat food, great friends...what more could you ask for!....
