Glam and Glitz for Christmas Dining

I like to keep the dining room table set, as it is the first room you see when you enter our home. We are also on our neighborhood House Tour this coming Friday night. So, I wanted to share this with you. This is a long post as I decided to share the whole room, so get comfy if you want to follow along:) As you know, I always love a touch of leopard. So, I added the napkins and the votives.
The gold embroidered napkins were my MIL's and are hand made and beautiful!
Beaded placemats and my good black and gold china are perfect for this special holiday!
The little beaded trees are ornaments.
A forest of trees march along the center of the table
and my Grandmothers wine glasses grace each place setting.

 The view from the foyer
Trees are on the pillows too.

Lots of candles are on the table too. They are all LED so can be left unattended.
I found these pretty gold tapers this year.

And I made the centerpiece several years ago.

The runner says NOEL at each end in beaded letters.

In the corner I placed this small tree and decorated it with gold ornaments and a touch of leopard on it too.

In this corner several belsnickle Santas sit on the tiny server.

This antique one is a favorite.

As the sun goes down the room glows.

Leopard packages and clip on ornaments are on the garland along with gold garland and red berries.

Thanks for sticking with me. I know we are all so very busy right now. I wish you all a beautiful day!!!!
XO, Pinky

The STAR of the Christmas Decorations

We got a new tree this year as the one we had was old and a section of lights was out.  I really like this new one and had fun decorating it. It was A LOT of work to fluff the whole thing but that's the drill when you have a brand new tree. I also like the tree in this spot as I can see it from the front door, the living room  the breakfast room and the kitchen.
This nativity that sits below the tree is made of clay and Joe made me the creche.
I love the combo of red and gold for the tree.
The sister ornament is, of course, from my sister and I placed it next to one of the ornaments that my Mom made many years ago.
I also LOVE my animal print ornaments. I found them at Pier 1 a few years ago and wish I had gotten more.

Some big, gold embellished ornaments are scattered around the tree too.

This is the view from the breakfast room. I love that we see the reflection of the lights at night while we are eating dinner.

This year I added a leopard throw on top of the red and gold tree skirt.
The bows at the top of red and gold and leopard!

The ornament on the right was purchased at Winterthur Museum several years ago. The ornament above it with the pearls is another one by my Mom.

This ornament was from Joe's sister the year his Mom died.
I wanted you to be able to see what is on it.
 Many ornaments hold treasured memories.
 Some night time shots.
 From the kitchen

The view as you come in the back door.

Thanks for your visit. I just LOVE the Christmas season and all that it brings. I just wish it lasted longer. I am looking forward to our neighborhood house tour. I am one of the 3 homes on the tour.
