My color scheme this year is red and orange flowers. These salmon geraniums fill the bill.
The fish all gather whenever we go to the pond, they think we will feed them every time we show up:)
We have counted 44 fish, they multiplied over the winter:) The plant that is putting out green is a water hibiscus. The flowers it produces are like the size of a dinner plate!!!!!!!!! I will share them when they bloom.
The water iris has buds, they will bloom soon.
We got this bird bath last year. I haven't gotten a shot of a bird bathing yet, I have seen them just don't have the camera at the time.
The Japanese maples are all leafed out and beautiful.
One of my frogs, by the pond. Last night Joe counted 12 frogs in the pond!!!!
The lily of the valley is blooming!!!
I got a red geranium for this hook out front.

ReplyDeletePinky,
ReplyDeleteO My! Everything looks so pretty!!
Love the planter with Rosebud written on it and how amazing that you can smile and think of your Mom every time you look at it......
Love all the red geraniums.....
I wish I had room for a pond. Yours is so lovely and I adore the fish!!
I bought the pillows at Wegman's last year on clearance. The other side of the chair cushions almost matches what the pillows look like....
Thanks so much for stopping by and for taking the time to leave such a sweet comment!!
Have a great week!
Hugs,
Deb
Everything looks so pretty and happy . fondly ~lynne~
ReplyDeleteLooking great Pinky! Love the pretty geraniums. I've selected orange this year for my geraniums and impatiens. I want to plant but know I'll have to worry about frost for a bit yet. I guess you have some happy fish! I never understood how ours could make the winters but they'd go as low as possible and as long as it didn't freeze solid they'd make it. I love to ear the frogs and birds. I wish I could have a speaker that would bring the sound in for me year round! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, Pinky - I have always adored your Rosebud pot from Shirley. I am looking forward to planting some pretty annuals, but still too cold in Wisconsin. Happy weekend to you! Jane
ReplyDeleteOh PInky! I love your little fish. THey are darling in your pond!!!! Things, as usual, are just beautiful around your home. You have a designer's eye and a green thumb! What a combination!!!!
ReplyDeleteEverything is looking beautiful. I love the rosebuds pot and the little fishies.:-)
ReplyDeleteI saw your custard comment. I had to have one more little taste yesterday evening. Yum!
Pinky, your yard is looking lovely. The ponds looks amazing and to see the koi multiplying is wonderful. So many lovely plants and planters too. Don't you just love the Japanese maples? Yes, a lot of hardf work gores into making our gardens beautiful. xo
ReplyDeleteSo pretty Pinky! I have pond envy and love that you have fish! Enjoy the blooms :)
ReplyDeletePretty pretty! Do you have these things blooming again this year? I know it might be a little early for you. My geraniums are happy right now. Geraniums are my favorite!
