Today I put away my winter things in the kitchen and dining room and decorated for Easter/Spring! I will show you the dining room tomorrow! I did some before and after pictures so this post is picture HEAVY. Here is the hutch in the breakfast room (that my hubby MADE), before.
Here it is with the BUNNIES!!!:)The table....
And now. I kept the arrangement that our friends gave us for now til it all dies. It is so pretty and very SPRINGY!!!! I love it!
This was on the table before.
I put a runner on the table from Home Goods (of course), that I love because it is so plain and simple.
Close up of the runner.
Breakfast room server, before....
and after! The 2 candy dishes are my Mom's, so I keep them. I have VERY few things from her.
Detail of this runner.
S and P on the lazy susuan. A bunny and a chick. And one of the small candy dishes.
Bunny napkin holder.
The counter before....
After....I hope I am not boring you:):)
I have several of these FAUX chocolate bunnies! OH!!! I just remembered I forgot to take a pic of the really BIG one on the fridge....sorry! But I am sure it will show up in a tablescape one of these days:):)
Sink and counters....
Spring!
These 2 platters are from K Mart and match the S and P and napkin holder.
Isn't he so cute in his little cage????
Mama bunny. She reminds me of the Old Woman in the shoe who had so many children, she didn't know what to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bunny S and P on the stove.
I bet you know what this is for......
Yup, my scrubbie!:) It is really a votive holder but this is what I use it for.
Some shots of the bunnies on the hutch.
I love this guy and the next one too.
Bunny in a burlap bag!
Hope you have enjoyed this little tour! I also hope the weather where you are is nice. It is still chilly here in Pa. and I am LONGING for Spring! The sun is out so that is a good thing! Hi Pinky, it's just plain old laminate edged in tile. THs house came tis way. We would like to do some kind of neutral tile with a small accent tile but have not gotten around to it. Not in the budget these days either! I love your tile and the pattern it is in. I love dark tile. We thought about a dark granite tile. Love all your spring touches, especially the bunnies!! Oh...you had asked about the red glassware before Christmas and I just came across the question the other day. It is Morgantown "golf ball." My mom just sold some of hers on ebay so I would definitely look there for the best deal. Thanks for stopping by!!
ReplyDeletePinky, it looks as if the Easter bunny has already arrived at your festive home!!! Definitely Spring is at your house, Kathysue
ReplyDeleteSo many cute bunnies!! And I am totally loving that runner!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Debbie

ReplyDeleteThe things I showed in my post about CTS were from last month. I didn't show what I got yesterday, YET! :)
Have a wonderful Sunday! It is cold here too!
You have so many cute things Pinky! I absolutely love the runners - but everything looks amazing. I wish I could come over and see it in person.

How FUN, Pinky!! I love all your cute Easter decorations & I love the nice clean lines of your home, too. They appeal to me greatly.
ReplyDeleteLike you, I treasure the few things that I have from my Mom.
Re FL, we stay on the Gulf Coast side, between Sarasota & Ft. Myers. Dear friends of our passed away & their children let us rent their home, since its a terrible time to sell. We are truly blessed to be able to use it & escape the cold.
fondly,
Rett
p.s. I love your new header & wallpaper!
Hi Pinky! Oh, I want to come hopping down the bunny trail to your house! I love all of your sweet decorations. Now you have so many cute little bunnies, if I were to borrow a few - you'd never miss them. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the pretty fronts of your cabinets. I'm having a Show Us Your Favorite Cupboard Party on Tuesday and I'd love for you to come.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
