HI everyone! Are you all as excited for Spring asd I am???? On Sat. (and Sun.) my hubby went over to help our son-in-law install a new kitchen floor in their kitchen. So, my daughter and I stayed at our house with their 2 dogs and I set a pretty table for dinner! I will be joining Susan for Tablescape Thursday at http://www.betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/ So, here is the centerpiece. I placed a wire cloche type piece in a green bowl. Then wound some English ivy around and placed a birds nest inside. I also placed this piece around the bowl: it is wired sticks and forsythia with a little nest.
This nest was a GIFT from Yvone at Stonegable!!!! Thanks so much, Yvonne! The place setting", sorry the little nest was off center! Whoops!!!!
I used a pastel striped tablecloth, pale yellow placemat, cream colored dinner dish with beautiful detailed edge, pink flower salad plate and a wire nest with an egg candle.
The napkins have pretty eggs embroidered on them, love these napkins! Pale blue goblets are some of my favorites.
The wire nests and egg candles are from Michaels awhile back. When I saw them I grabbed them FAST knowing they would fly right out of there!!
That's better! Centered the nest:):)
I love the edge of this plate.
It was a nice sunny day!
I used some of my bamboo flatware. I have several sets of these.
Close up of the PRETTY nest!!!!
We had lasagna for dinner. I didn't have to cook though, one of Tracy's girlfriends brought us a pan and it was delicious!!!!! Thanks, Celeste!!!!!! Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy Spring everyone! I hope it is nice where you are. XO, Pinky

Sounds like a perfect day; you set a beautiful table and someone else provides the dinner. I'm all for that!
ReplyDeleteYour centerpiece is lovely. I like the way the eggs in the plate nests work back to the napkins. Your blue goblets are so, so pretty. What a pretty shade of blue.
I also love those flower plates. They add a lot of textural interest to the setting.
